In this project I design the game mechanic, character design a


Inspiration

This game is made for 2 day game jam. The game jam theme is " only one".

At the start of Brain storming, we decided to focus on "only one object" as the design core .

We get the inspiration from movie Indiana Jones's rope and the character mama in Hobbs and Shaw movie, that create the character of the game.

This game is inspired from Chinese traditional lion dance and the game Japan Olympics.

This a PVP 2 player vs 2 Player game.

Whichever the team reaches the princess first win the game.


In a week we need to make a game that suitable for spectating or Streaming.

To achieve the goal ,we decided the direction of the game should be ridiculous physic base party game.This game is inspired from Chinese traditional lion dance and the game Japan Olympics.


There are two player on the team one player play as lion head, the other play as lion ass. The goal of the game is to reach the princes first. The player have to communicate with each other to co-op and overcome the obstacle.


In this project, I designed the player interactions and level design .


And we got a lot of good feedback for the game .The players enjoy working with each other and the spectator enjoy watching the chaos that player is struggling


Player interaction:

The basic player control is move horizontal and jump. The head player can Grab small obstacle and that the lion swing over for further or upper platform. The ass player can fart to have second jump force to jump further distance.

In this project our goal is to make a big twist to surprise and irritate the player in a humorous way.


In this project I design the main core game play, game flow design, event logic,environment design and character design for the team.


Game description:

The player play as the Red Riding hood That born during a war time. Outside the field Filled with mines, and the Red Riding Hood needs to send the food to her grandma.


The Twist(Design):

The goal of the is game is to send the food to grandma, and the grandma is living with Red riding hood.We never mention where is Grandma and player have to find her by exploring.


However we tricked the player by cut scene and the fairy tell story knowledge of the red riding hood to tricked the player to go to the forest and find grandma.But actually in the end the player is living in the same house with Red riding hood.

In the forest there are many mines in the ground that player have to remember the position of mines and solve some riddle to pass the levels.


In the end the player will know that they are being tricked and frustrated as you can see in the video
